Today, the world is confronted by many issues, including climate change, water resources in crisis, depletion of natural resources, energy sustainability and human rights abuses, in need of solutions to realize a sustainable society. Companies are part of society, and as such, society requires them to take a vigorous approach and do more to support society to achieve the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and address international issues articulated in such global commitments as the Paris Agreement.
Specializing in logistics real estate, the CRE Group holds fast to a management philosophy—Ei - Toku - Kan (Eternal - Virtue - Cycle)—in executing corporate activities, mainly in Japan, in the real estate management business, the logistics investment business and the asset management business. In recent years, the CRE Group has expanded its presence in these segments not only in the domestic market but overseas as well, through robust operations, including business alliances. Against this backdrop, the CRE Group acknowledges the importance of corporate management emphasizing the three perspectives of ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) that help reach targets aligned with SDGs to cope with diverse issues of global scale.
Logistics is sometimes referred to as the lifeblood of an economy. The CRE Group supports the logistics that in turn support an economy through logistics real estate and peripheral businesses. The CRE Group is perfectly positioned with businesses primed to provide new value, and as a corporate group, we will make a huge contribution to the realization of a sustainable society.
We welcome the continued warm support of stakeholders as we work toward a brighter future together.
